Law Office of Jerome D Handley open its door in April 2003. The mission of the firm was to provide quality transactional services to families. The focus was on assisting senior middle class families with planning their estates. This included Trusts, Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, and Advance Health Care Directives. The practice quickly expanded to also include seniors with real estate transactions (Deed Transfers, Sales, Deeds of Trust), Business Organizations (Buy/Sell Agreements), Business Formation (LLC, S Corps, Partnerships), and Tax Planning. As the firm matured the types of cases began to include trust death administrations, probate with or without a will, trust and probate litigation, elder law, and conservatorships. With the addition of Liana Held to the firm the office is now able to provide all forms of business and personal accounting as well as preparation of personal and business tax returns. The staff have developed a keen since of each individual client needs and goals, and tries to identify these immediately. The office works with clients on hourly fee base, flat fees, and contingency fees depending on the clients needs and ability to pay.
